Careflex Hydroflex Chair
13 March 2018
I have for sale this wonderful example of disability seating. When my wife developed Motor Neurone Disease it was purchased on the recommendation of a professional physiotherapist.
It proved an excellent purchase and was used by my wife for an eighteen month period, during which time she did not develop any pressure sores.
The chair was custom made in the sense that my wife was five foot six inches tall. It comes with the optional electric motor and rechargeable battery that controls both the tilt in space feature and the rake of the footplate.
Careflex recommend it suitability for Semi-ambulant and non-ambulant patients, Cerebral Palsy (particularly young adults), Stroke rehabilitation, Dementia care, Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and road traffic accident and spinal cord injury.
The Chair features: back angle recline, a tilt-in-space feature, an ergonomic push handle, an articulating back with adjustable wings, a flat back rest with CareFlex WaterCell Technology offering maximum pressure relief, an adjustable seat depth, an independently elevating leg rest that is angle adjustable with a fold down footplate, four fully braked castors and an easy clean cover.
